Good Day Child of God,
Today’s Devotion and Reflection is based on the Scripture: Judges 3:7-11 (NIV)
“The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord… He sold them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram Naharaim, to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years.”
Moral Story:
The Israelites’ cycle of disobedience, oppression, repentance, and deliverance is a reminder of the consequences of turning away from God. Their disobedience led to being subjected to foreign rulers. The story teaches us the importance of staying faithful to God and avoiding the pitfalls of sin.
Short Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to remain steadfast in our commitment to You. Guard us against the allure of sin and rebellion. May we learn from the Israelites’ mistakes and choose to follow You faithfully. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Affirmation:
Today, I choose obedience over rebellion. I will seek God’s guidance and avoid the paths that lead away from His presence.
Word of Prophecy: I prophesy that as you remain faithful to God’s commands, you will experience His protection and favour. You will avoid unnecessary trials and challenges that arise from disobedience, and His blessings will be abundant in your life.
