Good Day Child of God,
Today’s Devotion and Reflection is based on the Scripture: Judges 10:15-16 (NIV)
“But the Israelites said to the Lord, ‘We have sinned. Do with us whatever you think best, but please rescue us now.’ Then they got rid of the foreign gods among them and served the Lord. And he could bear Israel’s misery no longer.”
Moral Story:
The Israelites’ cry to the Lord reflects a repentant heart and a desire for rescue. Their turning away from foreign gods and recommitment to the Lord demonstrate the heart of a true leader—one who recognises their mistakes and leads by example. This story teaches us the importance of humility and repentance in leadership.
Short Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to have humble and repentant hearts, leading by example in all areas of our lives. May we recognise our mistakes and turn back to You in times of need. In Jesus’ name, amen.
