Good Day Child of God,
Today’s Devotion and Reflection is based on the Scripture: 1 John 4:16 (NIV) “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and anyone who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them.”
Moral Story:
The essence of God’s character is love, and as His children, we are called to walk in that love. The apostle John reminds us that when we come to know and believe in God’s love, we abide in Him, and He abides in us. Walking in God’s love means extending love to others, just as He has loved us. Love is the hallmark of our faith and the greatest commandment given to us by Jesus.
Short Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the love You have lavished upon me. Help me to walk in Your love and extend it to others. Teach me to abide in Your love and be a vessel of Your love to the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Affirmation:
Today, I choose to walk in God’s love. I am a recipient of His unconditional love, and I extend that love to others. As I abide in His love, He abides in me. I am a conduit of His love, bringing hope, healing, and reconciliation to those around me.
