Today’s Devotion and Reflection is based on the Scripture: Judges 11:11-12 (NIV)
“So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them. And he repeated all his words before the Lord in Mizpah. Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question: ‘What do you have against us that you have attacked our country?'”
Moral Story:
Jephthah’s actions reflect the importance of seeking God’s guidance in leadership decisions. Before taking action, he repeated his words before the Lord and sought God’s direction. This story teaches us the value of seeking God’s wisdom before making important choices.
Short Prayer:
Dear Lord, grant us the wisdom to seek Your guidance in all our decisions. May we pause to seek Your direction and wisdom before taking action. Help us to rely on You in all things. In Jesus’ name, amen.
