Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today, I want to share with you a message about holding on to the faith we have in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Faith is the foundation of our relationship with Him, and it is a gift that we must nurture and protect.
First and foremost, we must recognise that faith is a precious gift from God. It is by grace that we have been saved through faith, and this is not of our own doing; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). Our faith is not something we can conjure up on our own, but rather, it is bestowed upon us by God’s love and mercy.
In the journey of life, there are times when our faith may be tested. We face trials, tribulations, and uncertainties that can cause us to doubt. However, it’s in these moments that we must remember the words of Jesus when He said, “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). Our faith is not in our circumstances, but in the unchanging character of our Saviour.
To hold on to the faith we have in Christ, we need to regularly feed our spirits with the Word of God. The Bible is a source of strength and wisdom, and it reminds us of God’s promises and His faithfulness throughout history. When we meditate on His Word, we find the guidance and encouragement we need to persevere in our faith journey.
Prayer is another vital aspect of maintaining our faith. Through prayer, we can communicate with our Heavenly Father, pouring out our hearts, seeking His guidance, and finding the peace that surpasses all understanding. Prayer is our lifeline to God, and it strengthens our relationship with Him.
Fellowship with other believers is also crucial. The support and encouragement of a Christian community can help us stand firm in our faith. We are reminded in Hebrews 10:25 not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. When we gather with fellow believers, we find strength in unity and accountability.
Lastly, remember that faith is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey. It grows and deepens as we continue to trust in Jesus, even when circumstances seem bleak. Let us hold on to the faith we have in Christ Jesus, knowing that He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Through Him, we can overcome any challenge and find eternal hope.
In conclusion, holding on to the faith we have in Christ Jesus requires nurturing our faith through God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. It also involves recognizing that faith is a gift from God and trusting in His unchanging Love. May we all continue to walk in faith, knowing that our Lord is faithful, and He will never let us go. Amen.
Child of God, now is the time to tap into the anointing to receive all the fullness of the Blessings of God for your life. In Jesus name.
