Overview
Anytime I talk about this topic, it comes with different reactions. To some it is encouraging, to others discouraging. And to many more they feel that it is completely irrelevant to them. Yet it is to those who feel they don’t need this, that often need it the most.
You ask me what do I mean?
Jesus spoke about the spirit of singleness in the Bible.
For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”(Matthew 19:12)
Today many are living with the spirit of singleness and yet they are not aware about it. Being married doesn’t mean you are not affected by this spirit. It can affect all types of relationships.
You see when there is a spirit of singleness in your life, it must leave you alone one way or another. If you are married, it will result into divorce or widohood. In your career, it will force people just to tolerate you but never to accept you. There is rejection, there is exclusion, it can even affect your reproductive organs leading to bareness and other things.
I’ll never forget the day when one gentleman called me for prayer. And the Lord showed me that this was the spirit that was haunting his life. But he didn’t believe me. He said Sir I am married to my wife and nothing will ever come between us. He refused to accept what God was speaking to Him through me. A year later he called me crying on the phone. His wife had taken the children and left him and now he had nothing. He said Man of God I wish I had listened to you, but now it’s too late.
Child of God, it can’t be too late for you. Sometimes we can never know what is plaguing us until God shines His light. The Bible tells about a Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob who had been married five times. Every time she got married something would happen to her husband. Until heaven finally came for her and delivered her once and for all.
When God steps in, things must be different. As you embark on this journey, I see every spirit of rejection is about to be broken out of your life. Whatever causes people not to like you, not to love you, not to want to work with you or be around you, that spirit is going to be uprooted in Jesus name.

The Bible tells us of great men of God like Daniel and Nehemiah who did great things in their time, but they were also made to be physical eunuchs. And just like somebody can be made a eunuch in the physical, so someone can be made a eunuch spiritually.

Jesus is talking here from a spiritual perspective. To be a eunuch means you cannot marry or have children. You are sentenced to a life of singleness. I can’t count the number of people who have come to seeking help because their ex-husband or ex-wife went to a witch doctor and since then it’s been impossible for them to move on with their love life. These are people who have been made single.
You see when someone makes you single it can manifest in different ways. Some marriages are attacked by an outsider, other times a man or a woman can be pursued by someone who is not in love with them but just wants to use them and so their life is dragged on but never manifests into anything.
THIS WEEK, WHOSOEVER HAS SET THEMSELVES AGAINST YOU IN ORDER TO MAKE YOU SINGLE, THE LORD WILL FIGHT THEM
Sometimes there are men and women who are filled with envy and jealousy; full of evil. When they see you enjoying; they just want to take it away. But Child of God, I came to let you know, Fear Not! For Jehovah will fight all those who fight you and contend with those who contend with you.
this is none other than bad behaviours that make others want to have nothing to do with you. When it comes to this type of situation, it’s not the enemy but our own character flaws that get in the way and prevent us. Am talking things like pride, impatience, vanity, envy, jealousy, insecurity. Everyone has weaknesses but it’s when you allow those weaknesses to rule your life that you end up in devastating situations.
The Bible puts it this way,
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:5-7)
The Amplified version says that the mind of the flesh is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit. When we follow this instead of God, it leads to death. And this is what has killed many potentially great relationships and marriages.
Many women have destroyed their relationships because of insecurity; jumping to conclusions instead of trusting the Holy Spirit and leaning on Him for help. Instead of holding onto their partner they end up pushing them into someone else’s arms. Men and women today allow pride to get in the way; thinking they are better than one another. Many expect their partner to fit into all their checklist and expectations instead of adapting themselves and learning how to relate to somebody else in their own way.
The issue here is when you are carrying a great destiny inside you and the enemy is aware about it, he can begin to exploit your weaknesses. You see, many times it is the bad behaviours that have been developed over time and all what they do is push people away from you.
THIS WEEK IS ABOUT UPROOTING THE DEEP STRONGHOLDS THAT KEEP YOU FROM ENJOYING A A LOVING AND FULFILLED RELATIONSHIP
The key to the heart of a man or a woman is to know the way that they communicate when it comes to love.
The problem is, whichever is your main language of love is the way you will communicate to your partner. For example, if you receive love through physical touch, then that will be the way you want to communicate it to your partner. But if your partner doesn’t communicate love that way then there’s going to be an issue. One will wonder why the other isn’t responding to their gestures, and the other one will just be irritated or unfulfilled.
This is the reality that goes on in so many relationships today. But when you can discover the truth about your partner and how they communicate love, then you can begin to express it in a way they will understand and it will make all the difference in the world.
If your partner needs words of affirmation to receive love but for you it is gifts, you will endlessly try to express your love but your partner will never receive it. Now can you see why so many relationships fail? Though both love each other they are unable to express it effectively because they don’t understand each other’s love language!
** WHEN YOU ARE COMMUNICATING THE WRONG LOVE MESSAGE YOU END UP ATTRACTING THE WRONG PEOPLE INTO YOUR LIFE **
What happens child of God when you are communicating the wrong love messages? You can begin to attract the wrong type of people into your life. This will just leave you in unsatisfied relationships, never reaching your full potential. This is when you see two people end up being together just for the sake of it, but not really out of love.
In this lesson you’ll discover how to have a successful relationship, find the right partner, or even just understand yours better, whatever it is that you need this is the key to everything you’ve been looking for. Not understanding this has been one of the reasons why you’ve been stuck and the reason why your relationships have failed in the past. When it comes to dealing with the spirit of singleness, it’s not just about prayer but about practical application. You can go on a prayer marathon, you can fast for weeks, but if you don’t change your behaviours then you are going to continue to have issues where your relationships are concerned. Prayer is important but at the end of the day you are going to have to take action.
In the past lessons, we learned how to stop the spirit of singleness from derailing your marriage. Now when you begin to understand the languages of love, you can build a fool-proof marriage.
Men and woman are moved by different things. One needs encouragement while another needs to be showered with gifts. One needs you to take care of what matters to them while another just wants to be touched. Others don’t care about any of that as long as you can spend time with them. You have to know what you are looking for and you have to know what your partners needs. But if you keep trying to give somebody what they are not asking for, they will never interpret that as love.
